Welcome to St. Helena's premiere drive-in movie theater! Together with our partners, Charles Krug Winery and Tre Posti we are creating the ideal intersection of nostalgia, social distancing, great wine and good eatin'.
“Mission Impossible” is a sleek, whooshingly entertaining update of the vintage television series. When U.S. government operative Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his mentor, Jim Phelps (Jon Voight), go on a covert assignment that takes a disastrous turn, Jim is killed, and Ethan becomes the prime murder suspect. Now a fugitive, Hunt recruits brilliant hacker Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) and maverick pilot Franz Krieger (Jean Reno) to help him sneak into a heavily guarded CIA building to retrieve a confidential computer file that will prove his innocence. Director Brian De Palma remains a virtuoso puppet-master, pulling the strings taut in a nail-biting robbery sequence, switching from micro to macro with Hitchcockian panache, and finally letting rip with a hell-for-leather climax.
