Rose Gilroy penned FLY ME TO THE MOON, which was acquired by Apple in a $100 million deal following a bidding war in 2022. FLY ME TO THE MOON marks Gilroy’s first script that has been set up and sold at a studio and has solidified Gilroy as a screenwriter on the rise. Scarlett Johansson produced alongside Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through their These Pictures production company.
Additionally, her wilderness thriller, “The Pack” is in development with Alexander Skarsgård set to direct and co-star with Florence Pugh.
Gilroy recently garnered a spot on the 2023 Variety 10 Screenwriters to watch list.
