Cameo Cinema Announces September 18 Reopening
The Cameo Cinema has been planning for this day since it first closed. We are thrilled to once again welcome moviegoers who miss the power of great cinematic storytelling on the big screen. The staff is prepared and eager to once again entertain Cameo fans and movie lovers. We have created a phased re-opening of the theater, with limited showtimes through September. One movie will screen each day at 5:00 pm with seating limited to 30 patrons for each show.
With so much in news about the re-opening of theaters nationwide, we know you are looking to see what steps we are taking to ensure a safe and secure environment. While the theater has always been mindful of health and safety, we now have added an extra level of cleaning and sanitizing guests will notice the moment they walk back through our doors. The Cameo is part of the National Association of Theaters (NATO) CinemaSafe program, which is detailed below.
Its components include reductions in tickets available for each showtime to allow for appropriate social distancing, enhanced cleaning procedures that include a thorough cleaning of armrests and other touchable surfaces before and after each show, and nightly disinfecting. Safety protocols include mandatory mask wearing by all guests and associates, and hand sanitizing stations throughout the theatre.
Your safety is our focus.
Tickets sales are available online or via phone to reduce the need to stand in line for tickets. Alternatives to paper tickets will be used whenever possible.
